Just updating about my life.

NS: CPL now, editing 10 April 2008
Driving: Probation plate just gone about 5 days ago. YAY! no more noob!
erm, entering NTU SCI next year, enjoying my NS times now, doing video editing and video/photo assignments.

after a long long long LONG time (Only about 6 months), I am here typing into a HTML page again. NS and all have taken up most of my time.

Just a little update on life..
1) Entered NS 11th April 06 and promoted to LCP
2) Accepted into NTU SCI course
3) Passed CDC's Class 3A driving test on 23rd Sept
4) Gotta family car, Hyundai AVANTE not too long ago and learning to drive again from dad
5) Apply for IDA's scholarship soon
6) Preparing for Cultural Shock (temasek secondary's 07 charity concert)
7) anything else that I missed.

haha....isnt it just suprising how life can be summurised into a few sentences. I wonder if you all feel the same time(although I dunnoe how many pple are actually still bothering to visit this webpage at all after a long dormant period).

okay...updates again. Good news.  Very good news in fact. I have been accepted into NTU's School of Communication and Information after a rigorous interview process. I really thought that i couldnt make it lah. Den my parents opened the mailbox and saw NTU's letter. I was really scared that that was the rejection letter lah. But when i opened it. Wheee......"You have been accepted into NTU!!" I was so darn happy that i jumped and jumped man. Even though after that, i didnt really show, I am very very ha;ppy inside that I dunnoe how to express sia..haha....My favourite course, my future career. Everything is being planned nicely but God. Seriously. BBAC for A levels, Selected for NTU's interview although my GP didnt quite hit the mark, and now, accepted into NTU. Divine intervention.

Also, since SCDF HQ(my current 'workplace') is so near Comfort Driving Centre, I have enrolled in the school for the Class 3A lessons. I have always wanted to drive lah. Always, ever since i was young, I wanted to drive MRT trains, I wanted to drive Taxis, I wanted to even become a Bus Driver sia. LOL. Young, innocent dreams and visions...wahaha. One of my few passions in life. Now i am getting the chance. Basic Theory Test is on the 9th of June 06. First practical driving lesson is on the 12th of June 06. Can't wait for it.

okay. back to my life. After three weeks at SCDF Jalan Bahar Academy, I have been posted out this week to SCDF HQ at Ubi Ave. Isnt it cool? From a 1.5 Hr trip to the far west, I am grateful that my current trip now just takes about 30 minutes. lol. Less time spent on travelling(which means wasting time away). And something even more exciting, I have requested to be posted to the 'technological' branch as my interest has been in video/photography, and video editing. I wrote those 'wishes' on a piece of paper and passed it to a LTA. And that little writing enabled me to be posted to where I wanted. It is what I wanna do when i grow up, Electronic and Broadcast Media. Really wanna thank God for paving the way for me.

now here am I, enjoying the fact that i get office work hours, I can come home everyday, and I can pursue my other interests after 'work'. For me, now, I am going to take up driving as Comfort Driving Centre is just a few steps away. haha,. just started refreshing myself with the thoery book, and will be taking the test sometime next week lor. Vroom Vroom....!!!

now leh, 4 months after the A levels and about 1.5 months after applying for the courses in the Local universities, I have been accepted into NUS (School of Computing) and have been interviewed by NTU (School of Communication and Information). Now, I will be waiting for the final reply from NTU's side, before I myself make a final decision on the route of my life.

that's about it for now. my life ever since the last blog entry. and yea...continue visiting me.lolx...

okay..im 'botak' because I have entered Singapore's compulsary National Service for the better two years of my life. Im 'bonded' to singapore le..haha...botak quite okay for me lah...just that my head looks muich bigger than it is already it. hehez...

ROD and i repeat it is ROD not ORD will be the 10th of April 2008. I have no reservist because i am in clerical in SCDF..wahaha....sounds cool right....PES status BP but still kena clerk.

here I am, reporting to Jalan Bahar every single day, no stay-in, so good horx...but the travelling time takes a whole chunk out of your day. but still trying to adjust to the feeling of nothing because of the time taken to iron, wash and polish the NS stuff.

btw, !SMASH'D 2006 DVD is coming out soon. We are finalising it and the design and the DVDs should be out by next week le. To all involved in !SMASH'D, good job and enjoy watching the DVD. Just a note, Temasek Secondary started the concept and now alot alot of schools are trying to copy the idea. haha...no hints on which schools. TMS started it 4 years ago and will be continuously improving to keep us ahead.

Okay. Final post for a very very long time. Like it was ever fast. lol.

Tmr, I will be reporting to Jalan Bahar Camp in the morning to serve my compulsary two-year-stinct.(National Service-SCDF). It will be two years of 'character-building, etc etc etc'. wahaha. hope I will enjoy it there lor.

I will miss the civilian life and hope to enjoy the 'military' life. lol. ha ha ha. God will help me thru this period and my help will come from him.

wahhaa..the long reply doesnt mean anything..

I have gotten quite a reasonable and miraculous results and I am extremely happy. Thats all that i can describe my feeling now. SUper elated lah. wahaha..

In all my two years in MJC, my results was always towards the sinking portion with Es, Ds and even Fs. Only my maths was constantly improving and i WAS EXTREMELY WORRIED THEN.

My friends in other classes was like doing so well already, but then my classmates and I were still struggling like sh**..haha..

BUT den, ABB and a C5 for english. I was stunned. Super stunned.

Chem - A
Physics and Maths - B
G.P. - C5.

the only thing i was quite disappointed in was and is my GP results. I was quite sure of getting a higher grade than a C5. Haiz. haha...but overal-ly, i am quite happy lor.. Like i never imagine myself getting such a result. Really have to thank God for pulling me thru all the 2 years.
